Our networks and infrastructure are designed to maximize investment while reducing single points of failure on critical systems. We have four secure Data Centres, in Miami, in London, in Singapore and one in Mumbai, where all our servers, hardware and applications are hosted. Grass Roots Servers for the Americas are located in the Miami NAP Terramark Worldwide SAS 70 Type II Certified datacenter. The NAP is designed and built to disaster-resistant standards with maximum security to house mission-critical systems infrastructure. It provides best-in-class services to our enterprise and government customers, as dedicated Grass Roots experts manage all customer applications to deliver optimal configurations and ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Grass Roots clients can choose to put their Programs on shared virtual servers or dedicated servers.
Shared Virtual Server – Client Program shares virtual server space with other Grass Roots Clients. Remote access for Client is not available with virtual hosting. The security policy is implemented and maintained by Grass Roots. Program interruptions are possible when upgrades to other Clients modules are processing.
Dedicated Servers – This is the most powerful architecture used to host a Program’s applications and databases. The servers are custom built to meet a Client’s high demands. Dedicated servers offer faster response time, and better up time when compared to shared virtual hosting. Choosing the dedicated hosting option means your program will not share server space with other Grass Roots clients. The hardware configuration for a Program depends on a variety of factors such as: Number of participants, size of the Participating Products List, activity level of users and the technology plan of the client.
